Withdraw cash in Europe without unnecessary fees

Tap the map to set your location. Use the route buttons to open the ATM in Google Maps or Apple Maps.
If the ATM offers to charge you in your home currency: always say no.

This is dynamic currency conversion (DCC). The ATM then uses its own exchange rate, which is often several percent worse. Choose the local currency or “without conversion” and your card network’s rate applies. The ATM shows any operator fee before the withdrawal. If one appears, cancel and look for the next green dot.

Fee rules

Fees

The fee for foreign cards is set by the operator, not by the individual ATM. Each ATM is therefore assigned a rule for its country and operator. Fees reported by users override the rule.

Countries

Withdrawing cash in Europe

How bank ATMs treat foreign cards. Independent operators such as Euronet charge a fee almost everywhere. Tap a country to jump there. Countries marked “Coming soon” are still being checked and will be shown once the fees are reliable.
