It depends on the bank. In Vietnam, some bank ATMs are free and others charge a fee. Most banks charge about VND 20,000–55,000 or a percentage.

Fees are charged mainly by: TPBank, Vietcombank (VND 50,000–55,000). The fee is shown on screen before the withdrawal, so you can still cancel. Use the ATMs marked as free on the map. Avoid Euronet and other independent operators, especially at airports and in tourist areas. Withdraw a larger amount once rather than small amounts several times, and check before your trip what your own bank charges for foreign withdrawals.
